Commentary
This print depicts Ryusenji temple, commonly known as Meguro Fudo. Established in the Megura section of Edo for the protection of Edo Castle, the center of feudal government, the temple was dedicated to the god Fudo. [Text prepared for exhibition - Famous Views (2005)]
